**A 3D2N Flores cruise with Arunika Cruises is a comfort-class, ensuite-cabin small-ship voyage from Labuan Bajo through Komodo National Park, priced per person by cabin class. What does a 3D2N Flores cruise cost per person?

Comfort small-ship fares in Labuan Bajo are quote-based rather than fixed-listed. Your per-person price shifts with cabin class, the departure date and how full the boat is. The starting bands below are indicative — illustrative, not a locked quote. Your concierge confirms the live figure before you pay anything.

Cabin class Deck & layout Sleeps Indicative from-price pp (2026)
Standard Ensuite Lower deck, twin or double, private bathroom, AC 2 from ~IDR 3.9M (~USD 240)
Deluxe Ensuite Main deck, sea-view window, private bathroom, AC 2 from ~IDR 5.5M (~USD 340)
Master Suite Upper deck, larger cabin, some with private balcony 2 from ~IDR 7.5M (~USD 460)
Full-Ship Buyout Whole vessel, private departure, all cabins up to ~12 from ~IDR 45M (~USD 2,760) total

Rates are per person sharing (the buyout is priced per boat), exclude Komodo National Park entrance fees, and are indicative as of 2026.

To place the category: shared open-deck “deck class” backpacker boats run around IDR 1.5 million per person — roughly AUD 150 as of 2026 — and sleep guests on communal mattresses. Arunika sells none of that. Every 3D2N berth here is a private ensuite cabin. Different product, different price.

What’s included in the 3D2N fare — and what’s not?

Included in the fare Not included
Two nights aboard in your chosen ensuite cabin (AC, private bathroom) Komodo National Park entrance & ranger fees (separate line item)
All onboard meals, snacks, drinking water, tea and coffee Flights to and from Komodo Airport (LBJ)
English-speaking cruise guide Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
Snorkelling gear and onboard water toys (kayak/SUP where available) Alcoholic drinks and premium beverages
Ranger-guided treks on Komodo and Rinca Tips, gratuities and personal spending
Dinghy shore transfers plus airport–port meet at Komodo Airport (LBJ) Pre- and post-cruise hotel nights in Labuan Bajo

The park entrance and ranger fees are a separate, non-refundable line item paid on top of the cruise fare. Komodo National Park is managed by Balai Taman Nasional Komodo under Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK). Exact fee tables are not publicly fixed and must be quoted at booking — treat any figure you see elsewhere as subject to change.

How does the 3D2N schedule actually run?

Arunika’s 3D2N follows Labuan Bajo’s established scheduled-departure pattern. As of 2026, the trip departs Monday and returns Wednesday. Meeting is 09:00–09:30 at the operator office; the boat leaves at 10:00 sharp and is back around 15:00 on the final day.

Fly into Komodo Airport (IATA: LBJ). Aqua Expeditions cites roughly a 15-minute transfer between Le Bajo Flores port and the airport, and the town office sits about a 10-minute taxi from the terminal on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, near the harbour. Operators advise arriving in Labuan Bajo one day before departure so a delayed flight never costs you the sailing. Confirm your exact Monday departure date when you reserve.

What will you actually see across two nights?

Two nights trace the classic western-Komodo arc. Expect the Padar Island sunrise hike for its three-bay panorama, a ranger-led wildlife trek to see Komodo dragons on Komodo or Rinca, the rose-tinted sand of Pink Beach, snorkelling over reef shallows, and a drift across Manta Point to swim alongside manta rays. Exact stops flex with tide, weather and ranger guidance — your guide sets each day’s running order once you’re on the water.

How does booking and payment work?

Arunika follows the standard Labuan Bajo deposit structure. Here is the sequence, step by step:

  1. Enquire and pick your cabin class. The concierge confirms the live 3D2N per-person price and the next available Monday departure.
  2. Secure the booking with a 10% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable.
  3. Pay the 25% instalment. This portion is refundable only if you cancel 14 or more days before departure.
  4. Settle the final 65% balance plus Komodo National Park entrance fees. Both are due 14 days before departure and are non-refundable from that point.
  5. Arrive one day early, meet the crew by 09:00–09:30 on departure Monday, and sail at 10:00.

Two rules to plan around: shared departures carry a minimum age of 16, so families travelling with younger children book a full-ship private charter instead. And travel insurance covering cancellation, medical emergencies and trip disruption is strongly recommended — build it into your budget before you pay the balance.

When is the best time to sail the 3D2N route?

Arunika sails the Komodo–Flores waters April to September — the same window comfort operators keep to in order to avoid the harsher off-season conditions. Aqua Expeditions, for one, restricts its Bali–Komodo–Flores season to those months. Independent guides point to April through June as the sweet spot: greener islands, thinner crowds and clearer underwater visibility. Book earlier in that band for the best light on the Padar climb, and reserve well ahead — cabins tighten fast through the peak.
